BIOGRAPHY

Obi's path to the law was shaped by a passion for justice and an early interest in the intersection of policy, technology, and the economy. That interest led him from congressional halls in Washington, D.C., where he interned for Congressman Gene Green, to Georgetown Law, where he deepened his expertise in antitrust and technology law.

Obi’s legal career began at the Texas Office of the Attorney General’s Antitrust Division, where he handled cases involving a wide range of industries such as energy, agriculture, healthcare, and consumer technology. His experience includes working with state and federal agencies to investigate matters related to price fixing, bid-rigging, and mergers & acquisitions. His work spanned complex litigation under state and federal antitrust laws, collaborating with other enforcers to investigate and litigate cases that impact markets nationwide. A firm believer in the power of meticulous research and strategic advocacy, Obi has worked across all phases of civil litigation, from discovery to motion practice.

When he’s not navigating complex legal issues, Obi enjoys the art of the fight. A dedicated boxing enthusiast and gamer, he appreciates the discipline and strategy that go into a competitive bout. He enjoys discussing the legal implications of evolving digital markets just as much as he enjoys a well-balanced RPG. Beyond boxing and gaming, he's an avid traveler, a voracious reader, and a firm believer that a perfectly grilled steak is one of life’s great joys.
